Story Premise
Daniel Mercer’s death did not end anything. It started something.
Lukas returns home thinking he is attending a funeral. Instead, the will reading places Harrow House, the motel, the boarding house, and whatever remains of Daniel’s holdings in his hands. Mr. Bell’s warning is simple: the paperwork is a disaster, the bills are overdue, and the truth may be worse than anyone is ready for.
